I am a clarinettist from West Sussex who has recently graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance with First Class Honours; and I'm passionate about learning and performing a variety of genre, including classical, contemporary and jazz.
Growing up I performed in several local Youth Orchestras, Wind Orchestras and Big Bands and I subsequently went on to study at Trinity Laban in 2017, as a Trinity London Scholar. During my studies, I performed alongside the University of London Symphony Orchestra and the Trinity Laban Symphony Orchestra, and since graduating have performed with professional orchestras Kidenza, Stane Street Sinfonietta, the London Concert Orchestra and Bath Philharmonia. I was also pleased to make my concerto debut with the Horsham Symphony Orchestra, playing Jean Françaix's Clarinet Concerto. As a chamber musician, I have performed in various festivals including the Brighton Fringe and the 34th Krakow International Festival of Composers, Poland, in 2022. I have taught various students with London Music Centre and completed an invaluable placement at Junior Trinity, working with young musicians.
I was also delighted to be awarded two first place prizes in the 2020 and 2021 Wilfred Hambleton Clarinet Competition, as well as being a finalist in the 2021 Harold Clarke Woodwind Competition and the runner up in the 2021 Coro Nuovo Sussex Young Musician of the Year competition. Graduating from Trinity Laban, I was also pleased to be the recipient of the Wilfred Hambleton Clarinet Prize for excellence in Clarinet playing.
I have now finished my undergraduate degree and am aiming to continue developing as a clarinettist, further expanding my repertoire and experience as a solo, chamber and orchestral musician.
